【Yang Jen-Ming's Abstract World】
Yang Jen-Ming (1962~) was born in Kaohsiung. He is good at systematically developing creative symbols with unique self-language, exploring with visual arts, and establishing a set of his creative vocabulary. Creative element expression.
"Thinking" is the most important part of Yang Jen-Ming's creation. He conveys his symbolic language in a way of thinking, and creates infinite possibilities by dividing and stacking under the simple geometric concept after multi-level refinement. In his creations over the years, he often finds that the works are full of rational and emotional coordination and conflict, especially in the construction of three-dimensional cutting and painting, which is ingeniously echoing his own heavy metal wearing style.
Yang Jen-Ming is good at creating rich and diverse works. Compared to the past, the rational and emotional balance has both creative methods. Recently, he has focused on rational expression, presented through multi-level different color blocks, and broken the squares of line display with perspective graphics. Creating an overlap of sense of space, from an unstable connection to a geometric abstract world, he is an important contemporary artist with a complete artistic creation trajectory.
Yang Jen-Ming's paintings are in line with the contemporary mainstream and an important trend all over the world. In Taiwan's art world, he is a representative. In his works, he looks at the artist's imagination, originality, and structural tension in the face of the paintings. In him, we see the changes and invariances of contemporary artists in Taiwan in the face of their cultural expression and artistic creation. 1985 Graduated from Fine Arts Department of Chinese Culture University
2006 MFA, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts Currently lives and works in Taipei, Taiwan.
